James Brake

James Brake is a geologist/geoscientist with over 40 years of oil and gas exploration experience in the Texas, Louisiana, and Gulf Coast areas of the US. He has a degree in geology and physics from Stephen F Austin State University in 1984 and immediately began working for ARCO (Atlantic Richfield) in their Plano, Texas Offices.

He started his consulting company, JB Geo Logic Inc., in 2004 and Polaris Geo Science in 2012 as a consulting geoscientist. He has been directly involved in development and research and development of oil and gas prospects in the Southwestern US and has been directly and personally involved in developing and funding over $225,000,000.00 of oil and gas and mining prospects in the US and Mexico.

James has been successful in achieving consistent positive outcomes in the creation and syndication of oil and gas and mining prospects through risk mitigation and efficient use of geo science and geophysical technologies.
